தோ³ஹா
ஶ்ரீ கு³ரு சரண ஸரோஜ ரஜ நிஜமன முகுர ஸுதா⁴ரி ।
வரணௌ ரகு⁴வர விமலயஶ ஜோ தா³யக ப²லசாரி ॥
பு³த்³தி⁴ஹீன தனுஜானிகை ஸுமிரௌ பவன குமார ।
ப³ல பு³த்³தி⁴ வித்³யா தே³ஹு மோஹி ஹரஹு கலேஶ விகார ॥

With the Dust of the Lotus Feet of Sri Gurudeva, I Clean the Mirror of my Mind.
I Narrate the Sacred Glory of Sri Raghubar (Sri Rama Chandra), who Bestows the Four Fruits of Life (Dharma, Artha, Kama and Moksha).

த்⁴யானம்
கோ³ஷ்பதீ³க்ருத வாராஶிம் மஶகீக்ருத ராக்ஷஸம் ।
ராமாயண மஹாமாலா ரத்னம் வன்தே³-(அ)னிலாத்மஜம் ॥
யத்ர யத்ர ரகு⁴னாத² கீர்தனம் தத்ர தத்ர க்ருதமஸ்தகாஞ்ஜலிம் ।
பா⁴ஷ்பவாரி பரிபூர்ண லோசனம் மாருதிம் நமத ராக்ஷஸான்தகம் ॥

Considering Myself as Ignorant, I Meditate on You, O Pavan Kumar (Hanuman).
Bestow on me Strength, Wisdom and Knowledge, and Remove my Afflictions and Blemishes.

சௌபாஈ
ஜய ஹனுமான ஜ்ஞான கு³ண ஸாக³ர ।
ஜய கபீஶ திஹு லோக உஜாக³ர ॥ 1 ॥

Victory to You, O Hanuman, Who is the Ocean of Wisdom and Virtue,
Victory to the Lord of the Monkeys, Who is the Enlightener of the Three Worlds.

ராமதூ³த அதுலித ப³லதா⁴மா ।
அஞ்ஜனி புத்ர பவனஸுத நாமா ॥ 2 ॥

You are the Messenger of Sri Rama possessing Immeasurable Strength,
You are Known as Anjani-Putra (son of Anjani) and Pavana-Suta (son of Pavana, the wind-god).

மஹாவீர விக்ரம பஜ³ரங்கீ³ ।
குமதி நிவார ஸுமதி கே ஸங்கீ³ ॥3 ॥

You are a Great Hero, extremely Valiant, and body as strong as Thunderbolt,
You are the Dispeller of Evil Thoughts and Companion of Good Sense and Wisdom.

கஞ்சன வரண விராஜ ஸுவேஶா ।
கானந குண்ட³ல குஞ்சித கேஶா ॥ 4 ॥

You possess a Golden Hue, and you are Neatly Dressed,
You wear Ear-Rings and have beautiful Curly Hair.

ஹாத²வஜ்ர ஔ த்⁴வஜா விராஜை ।
கான்தே² மூஞ்ஜ ஜனேவூ ஸாஜை ॥ 5॥

You hold the Thunderbolt and the Flag in your Hands.
You wear the Sacred Thread across your Shoulder.

ஶங்கர ஸுவன கேஸரீ நன்த³ன ।
தேஜ ப்ரதாப மஹாஜக³ வன்த³ன ॥ 6 ॥

You are the Incarnation of Lord Shiva and Son of Kesari,
You are Adored by the whole World on account of your Great Strength and Courage.

வித்³யாவான கு³ணீ அதி சாதுர ।
ராம காஜ கரிவே கோ ஆதுர ॥ 7 ॥

You are Learned, Virtuous and Extremely Intelligent,
You are always Eager to do the Works of Sri Rama.

ப்ரபு⁴ சரித்ர ஸுனிவே கோ ரஸியா ।
ராமலக²ன ஸீதா மன ப³ஸியா ॥ 8॥

You Delight in Listening to the Glories of Sri Rama,
You have Sri Rama, Sri Lakshmana and Devi Sita Dwelling in your Heart.

ஸூக்ஷ்ம ரூபத⁴ரி ஸியஹி தி³கா²வா ।
விகட ரூபத⁴ரி லங்க ஜலாவா ॥ 9 ॥

You Appeared before Devi Sita Assuming a Diminutive Form (in Lanka),
You Assumed an Awesome Form and Burnt Lanka.

பீ⁴ம ரூபத⁴ரி அஸுர ஸம்ஹாரே ।
ராமசன்த்³ர கே காஜ ஸம்வாரே ॥ 1௦ ॥

You Assumed a Gigantic Form and Destroyed the Demons,
Thereby Accomplishing the Task of Sri Rama.

லாய ஸஞ்ஜீவன லக²ன ஜியாயே ।
ஶ்ரீ ரகு⁴வீர ஹரஷி உரலாயே ॥ 11 ॥

You Brought the Sanjivana herb and Revived Sri Lakshmana.
Because of this Sri Rama Embraced You overflowing with Joy.

ரகு⁴பதி கீன்ஹீ ப³ஹுத ப³டா³யீ (ஈ) ।
தும மம ப்ரிய ப⁴ரத ஸம பா⁴யீ ॥ 12 ॥

Sri Rama Praised You Greatly,
And said: "You are as dear to me as my brother Bharata".

ஸஹஸ்ர வத³ன தும்ஹரோ யஶகா³வை ।
அஸ கஹி ஶ்ரீபதி கண்ட² லகா³வை ॥ 13 ॥

"The Thousand Headed Seshnag Sings Your Glory",
Said Sri Rama to You taking you in his Embrace.

ஸனகாதி³க ப்³ரஹ்மாதி³ முனீஶா ।
நாரத³ ஶாரத³ ஸஹித அஹீஶா ॥ 14 ॥

Sanaka and other Sages, Lord Brahma and other Gods,
Narada, Devi Saraswati and Seshnag ...

யம குபே³ர தி³க³பால ஜஹாம் தே ।
கவி கோவித³ கஹி ஸகே கஹாம் தே ॥ 15 ॥

Yama (god of death), Kubera (god of wealth), Digpalas (the guardian deities),
Poets and Scholars have not been able to Describe Your Glories in full.

தும உபகார ஸுக்³ரீவஹி கீன்ஹா ।
ராம மிலாய ராஜபத³ தீ³ன்ஹா ॥ 16 ॥

You Rendered a great Help to Sugriva.
You Introduced him to Sri Rama and thereby Gave back his Kingdom.

தும்ஹரோ மன்த்ர விபீ⁴ஷண மானா ।
லங்கேஶ்வர ப⁴யே ஸப³ ஜக³ ஜானா ॥ 17 ॥

Vibhisana Followed your Advice,
And the Whole World Knows that he became the King of Lanka.

யுக³ ஸஹஸ்ர யோஜன பர பா⁴னூ ।
லீல்யோ தாஹி மது⁴ர ப²ல ஜானூ ॥ 18 ॥

The Sun which was at a distance of Sixteen Thousand Miles,
You Swallowed It (the Sun) thinking it to be a Sweet Fruit.

ப்ரபு⁴ முத்³ரிகா மேலி முக² மாஹீ ।
ஜலதி⁴ லாங்கி⁴ க³யே அசரஜ நாஹீ ॥ 19 ॥

Carrying Lord Sri Rama's Ring in your Mouth,
You Crossed the Ocean, no Wonder in that. 

து³ர்க³ம காஜ ஜக³த கே ஜேதே ।
ஸுக³ம அனுக்³ரஹ தும்ஹரே தேதே ॥ 2௦ ॥

All the Difficult Tasks in this World,
Are Rendered Easy by your Grace. 

ராம து³ஆரே தும ரக²வாரே ।
ஹோத ந ஆஜ்ஞா பி³னு பைஸாரே ॥ 21 ॥

You are the Gate-Keeper of Sri Rama's Kingdom.
No one can Enter without Your Permission.

ஸப³ ஸுக² லஹை தும்ஹாரீ ஶரணா ।
தும ரக்ஷக காஹூ கோ ட³ர நா ॥ 22 ॥

Those who take Refuge in You enjoy all Happiness.
If You are the Protector, what is there to Fear?

ஆபன தேஜ ஸம்ஹாரோ ஆபை ।
தீனோம் லோக ஹாங்க தே காம்பை ॥ 23 ॥

You alone can Control Your Great Energy.
When you Roar, the Three Worlds Tremble.

பூ⁴த பிஶாச நிகட நஹி ஆவை ।
மஹவீர ஜப³ நாம ஸுனாவை ॥ 24 ॥

Ghosts and Evil Spirits will Not Come Near,
When one Utters the Name of Mahavir (Hanuman).

நாஸை ரோக³ ஹரை ஸப³ பீரா ।
ஜபத நிரன்தர ஹனுமத வீரா ॥ 25 ॥

You Destroy Diseases and Remove all Pains,
When one Utters your Name Continuously.

ஸங்கட ஸே ஹனுமான சு²டா³வை ।
மன க்ரம வசன த்⁴யான ஜோ லாவை ॥ 26 ॥

Hanuman Frees one from Difficulties,
When one Meditates on Him with Mind, Deed and Words.

ஸப³ பர ராம தபஸ்வீ ராஜா ।
தினகே காஜ ஸகல தும ஸாஜா ॥ 27 ॥

Sri Rama is the King of the Tapaswis (devotees engaged in penances).
And You (Hanuman) Fulfill all Works of Sri Rama (as a caretaker).

ஔர மனோரத² ஜோ கோயி லாவை ।
தாஸு அமித ஜீவன ப²ல பாவை ॥ 28 ॥

Devotees who have any Other Desires,
Will ultimately get the Highest Fruit of Life.

சாரோ யுக³ ப்ரதாப தும்ஹாரா ।
ஹை ப்ரஸித்³த⁴ ஜக³த உஜியாரா ॥ 29 ॥

Your Glory prevails in all the Four Ages.
And your Fame Radiates throughout the World.

ஸாது⁴ ஸன்த கே தும ரக²வாரே ।
அஸுர நிகன்த³ன ராம து³லாரே ॥ 3௦ ॥

You are the Saviour of the Saints and Sages.
You Destroy the Demons, O Beloved of Sri Rama.

அஷ்ட²ஸித்³தி⁴ நவ நிதி⁴ கே தா³தா ।
அஸ வர தீ³ன்ஹ ஜானகீ மாதா ॥ 31 ॥

You can Give the Eight Siddhis (supernatural powers) and Nine Nidhis (types of devotions).
Mother Janaki (Devi Sita) gave this Blessing to you.

ராம ரஸாயன தும்ஹாரே பாஸா ।
ஸதா³ ரஹோ ரகு⁴பதி கே தா³ஸா ॥ 32 ॥

You hold the Essence of Devotion to Sri Rama.
You Always Remain as the Servant of Raghupati (Sri Rama).

தும்ஹரே பஜ⁴ன ராமகோ பாவை ।
ஜன்ம ஜன்ம கே து³க² பி³ஸராவை ॥ 33 ॥

Through Devotion to You, one gets Sri Rama,
Thereby getting Free of the Sorrows of Life after Life.

அன்த கால ரகு⁴பதி புரஜாயீ ।
ஜஹாம் ஜன்ம ஹரிப⁴க்த கஹாயீ ॥ 34 ॥

At the End one Goes to the Abode of Raghupati (Sri Rama).
Where one is Known as the Devotee of Hari.

ஔர தே³வதா சித்த ந த⁴ரயீ ।
ஹனுமத ஸேயி ஸர்வ ஸுக² கரயீ ॥ 35 ॥

Even without Worshipping any Other Deities,
One Gets All Happiness who Worships Sri Hanuman.

ஸங்கட க(ஹ)டை மிடை ஸப³ பீரா ।
ஜோ ஸுமிரை ஹனுமத ப³ல வீரா ॥ 36 ॥

Difficulties Disappear and Sorrows are Removed,
For Those who Contemplate on the Powerful Sri Hanuman.

ஜை ஜை ஜை ஹனுமான கோ³ஸாயீ ।
க்ருபா கரஹு கு³ருதே³வ கீ நாயீ ॥ 37 ॥

Victory, Victory, Victory to You, O Hanuman,
Please Bestow your Grace as our Supreme Guru.

ஜோ ஶத வார பாட² கர கோயீ ।
சூ²டஹி ப³ன்தி³ மஹா ஸுக² ஹோயீ ॥ 38 ॥

Those who Recite this Hanuman Chalisa one hundred times (with devotion),
Will get Freed from Worldly Bondage and get Great Happiness.

ஜோ யஹ படை³ ஹனுமான சாலீஸா ।
ஹோய ஸித்³தி⁴ ஸாகீ² கௌ³ரீஶா ॥ 39 ॥

Those who Read the Hanuman Chalisa (with devotion),
Will become Perfect, Lord Shiva is the Witness.

துலஸீதா³ஸ ஸதா³ ஹரி சேரா ।
கீஜை நாத² ஹ்ருத³ய மஹ டே³ரா ॥ 4௦ ॥

Tulsidas who is Always the Servant of Hari.
Prays the Lord to Reside in his Heart.

தோ³ஹா
பவன தனய ஸங்கட ஹரண - மங்கள³ மூரதி ரூப் ।
ராம லக²ன ஸீதா ஸஹித - ஹ்ருத³ய ப³ஸஹு ஸுரபூ⁴ப் ॥
ஸியாவர ராமசன்த்³ரகீ ஜய । பவனஸுத ஹனுமானகீ ஜய । போ³லோ பா⁴யீ ஸப³ ஸன்தனகீ ஜய ।

Sri Hanuman, who is the Son of Pavana, who Removes Difficulties,
Who has an Auspicious Form,
With Sri Rama, Sri Lakshmana and Devi Sita,
Please Dwell in my Heart.
